This is our interpretari category. Each year we have a different topic for filmmakers to interpret with no limitation. This year is 'LGBT'Q+. Starling Film Festival accepts UK and International short films, narrative or documentary, with a theme or story relating to the LGBTQ+ community. You get full creative reign with this particular category. Showcase what LGBT+ means to you.
UK SHORT FEATURE (MAX 20-45 MINUTES)
Films of all genres are welcome to be submitted to this category. Films only produced in the UK are eligible for this category.
INTERNATIONAL SHORT FEATURE (20-45 MINUTES)
Films of all genres are welcome to be submitted to this category. Films made internationally outside of the UK are eligible in this category. Films made in the UK do not qualify for this category.
